First time coming to Church: we welcome you don't worry if you don't know what to do. here are the few tips that will help you prepare you for your first Church visit. 

  •  What is it like?

  • Our a church is like a family. Just as families exist in all shapes and sizes, so there is an enormous variety of churches. Encountering a new group of people who all know each other and all know what is going on can feel intimidating. For that reason, a personal introduction is often the best way to go to church for the first time. If you can, go with a friend or someone who already ‘knows the ropes’. They can help you understand what is happening and why, and help you to feel at home.

    If you don’t know anyone from the church, don’t let that put you off! our churches have welcomers who are there to help you and make you feel like at home. You might like to identify yourself as new if they don’t seem to realise straight away.

 

  • What about my kids?
  • Miracle Family Temple is a Church for your whole family. We believe that children are a blessing from God and should be taught about God in a Biblical learning environment! We Sunday School from pre-k to high school where they learn about God in a meaningful way. 

 

  • Where do I park?
  • We have a plenty of parking space inside our premises. 

 

  • What do I wear?
  • If you want to know how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable should be fine. Generally, graphic tees that show off sports team logos or bands should never be worn to church. Solid-colored tops are fine, and even something with a pattern should be OK to wear. Anything with wording or obnoxious sayings should not be worn to church.

Dos and don’ts of what to wear to church

  • Do choose garments that cover your shoulders.
  • Do wear skirts that are knee-length or longer.
  • Do add layers, such as a blazer, to more revealing tops and dresses.
  • Do tuck in your top and wear a belt if your bottoms have belt loops.
  • Do wear feminine patterns like florals.
  • Do be cautious about pencil skirts. A looser style might work, but a body-hugging skirt will not.
  • Don’t wear animal prints. 
  • Don’t wear tight pants or leggings.
  • Don’t overdo the accessories. A pair of stud earrings is all you need.
  • Don’t wear heels taller than 3 inches.
  • Don’t wear anything sheer.

  • We're so glad you want to get connected at Miracle Family Temple! There are tons of ways to keep in the loop with what's going on with the church body.
  • Join us at the weekly Sunday Service!
  • When? Every Sunday, immediately after the Sunday service
  • Where? Lobby  (near the main entrance)
  • What? A short and casual meet & greet with visitors, newcomers, staff, and volunteers!
